I did check out the section on the Ourika Valley as we went there on a day-trip organized by our Riad manager, and I read the sections in the book about the places we were visiting and found them informative though concise. I have to admit, we didn't use it much for recommendations since had pre-booked the Riad and had already prowled the guide books for things to see. So for that reason alone I have to recommend it highly. It really is both insightful and literary. I borrowed it for the duration of our stay and have to say that the section on history was one of the most well-written, engaging and entertaining sections on history in any guide book I've encountered so far. I had not purchased this book (we had the Rough Guide and the Lonely Planet for Morocco as we were visiting more than one city) but found it in the lounge of the Riad we stayed at.
